Light the Night Walk

Williams Kherkher Hart Boundas, LLP is proud to support the fight against blood cancer as a sponsor of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk 2009 in Houston, Texas.

On October 10, 2009, participants gathered at The Discovery Green Park in downtown Houston to honor the countless lives affected by leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood cancers.
Participants carried colored balloons as they walked – white balloons for survivors, red balloons for supporters, and gold balloons to commemorate lives lost.

The Light the Night Walk is held by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society each year in over 230 cities across the United States and Canada. The walk aims to raise awareness and funds for blood cancer research, as well as provide support for victims of blood cancer and their families.

“Light the Night is a great way to build a spirit of caring and cooperation among employees as they help others,” said Stafford Burns III, marketing manager at Williams Kherkher. “I am honored that our organization is involved and we look forward to encouraging commitment from other local businesses and corporations.”
